David Morley, BSc. MSc. Chiropractic DC

David Morley joins the team at TBI and is a UK trained chiropractor with 10-years experience in treating individuals with neuro-musculoskeletal probems. These problems can range from simple neck pain, and headaches to low back pain and chronic sciatic conditions. As a chiropractor it my role to establish whether a presenting complaint is the result of the body adapting to poorly functioning joints – especially those of the spine. A slight misalignment of any joint will create stress, tension, inflammation and ultimately pain of that joint. Chiropractors specialise in the detection and correction of these subtle misaligned poorly functioning joints. We correct the alignment of the joints usually with a specific force, but utilise a variety of techniques. A technique is chosen to suit the requirements of the individual.

The benefit of working at TBI is that all aspects of care are catered for. Once I have restored normal joint function I can then refer people on to on site physiotherapists who can begin a muscular rehabilitation program if it is needed.

David began his training at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in the autumn of 1993. By the summer of 1997, he had achieved a bachelor of science degree and in 1998 qualified with a master of science degree in chiropractic. From July 1998 until early 2003 David worked as an associate chiropractor in  England. He ran his own successful chiropractic office for 2 years before realising a life-long ambition to live, work and play in New Zealand.
