Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) are a great way to objectively measure the functional ability of your client in relation to their injury.

If your client has a job to go back to, a task-specific FCE can give your client, the employer, GP or specialist, the objective information they need to confirm that your client can safely return back to specific tasks at work. For your clients that do not have a job, a standard or complex FCE can be very helpful in clarifying if your client has achieved the level of function required to be cleared to return to their pre-injury role or to take on a new job task.
