TBI Health’s Cancer Rehab service, delivered by qualified PINC and STEEL Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
TBI Health provides assessment and rehabilitation for both men and women, through all stages of their cancer journey.
This individualised input is aimed at reducing the impact and burden of cancer through improving strength, quality of life and a sense of wellbeing. Cancer rehabilitation and exercise can prevent long term disability and reduce side effects of the disease and cancer treatments, and can improve functional ability, quality of life and ultimately, survival.
This service is currently available in Auckland (Ellerslie and Henderson), New Plymouth, Wellington (Wellington Central and Newtown), Lower Hutt, Christchurch and Hokitika.
Our Cancer Rehab physiotherapists have knowledge in treating a wide range of cancer conditions and post treatment impairments in both women and men at all cancer stages.
