Integrated Care Pathways (ICPMSK) – fully funded musculoskeletal support for eligible clients
TBI Health’s Integrated Care Pathways Musculoskeletal (ICPMSK) is a fully funded service that provides eligible ACC clients with fast access to a specialist-led triage assessment and rehabilitation service. This includes surgical and non-surgical treatment pathways.
We can support patients with:
- Traumatic knee injuries including ligament rupture (i.e. ACL), fracture or dislocations and meniscal tears
- Shoulder fracture, rotator cuff rupture or instability
- Lumbar disc prolapse with radiculopathy or fracture
GP and Specialist Referrals
We welcome all GP and Specialist referrals. Referrals can be made directly to TBI Health via:

Conditions we may be able to help your patients with:
Knee
- Fracture involving the tibial condyle (or tibial end of the knee)
- Fracture involving the femoral condyle (or femoral end of the knee)
- Fracture of the patella
- Anterior Cruciate Ligament Rupture with/ without meniscal tear
- Posterior Cruciate Ligament Rupture
- Medial and/or Lateral Ligament Rupture
- Medial and/or Lateral Meniscal tear or other internal derangement
- Osteochondral fracture
- Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis
- Patellar Tendon rupture
- Traumatic Patellar dislocation
Shoulder
- Fracture clavicle
- Fracture humerus (or humeral end of shoulder)
- AC Joint dislocation
- Fracture glenoid (or scapular end of shoulder)
- Glenohumeral joint dislocation
- Post-Traumatic Osteoarthritis
- Rotator cuff full thickness tear (rupture)
- +/- Biceps tendon high grade tear
- +/- traumatic Labral tear
Lower back
- Lumbar disc prolapse, or extrusion, with radiculopathy
- Lumbar fracture
Other
- Previous fracture mentioned above managed with ACC funded surgery, and now requires removal of metalware
Integrated Care Pathways – access for Health Providers
As part of Integrated Care Pathways, we are introducing a unique treatment stream called the Monitored Care Pathway. This pathway allows external health providers to refer their clients to our service, collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team, and receive funding to support their clients rehabilitation.
