Sunday 19th February marked the 40th annual Cigna Round the Bays event in Wellington. TBI Health entered our biggest team ever with 52 staff, clients and families participating and covering off either the 6.5km, 10km or half marathon.

Sport Wellington reported that the event was a record breaker – with 14,500 people from the wider Wellington region taking part. Breaking the total race numbers down: 2,000 took part in the Cigna Achilles Half Marathon, 3,500 in the Bluebridge 10km and a further 9,000 in the 6.5km fun run and Mitre 10 MEGA Buggy Walk.

A huge shout out to our supporters that were there to cheer us on and congratulations to everyone that took part on the day. We hope you enjoyed it! You all looked great in the new TBI branded ‘The secret to getting ahead is getting started’ singlets and wrist bands.

Official results from the day can be found in the Dominion Post souvenir tabloid published on Monday 20th February and on the official Cigna Round the Bays event app.
