We are delighted to announce that TBI Health has won the ‘Supporting Gold’ category at the Dominion Post Wellington Gold Awards on Thursday 7th July.
Congratulations to all of the finalists and a massive thank you to the Wellington Gold Awards judging panel, Catalist, our loyal customers, CEO Chris Gregg and Directors Chris Hoffman and Peter Welsh and the rest of our fantastic team throughout New Zealand (many of who have been with us for a number of years).
Winning this Supporting Gold award is a huge testament to all of our wonderful staff! We have worked hard for many years to build TBI Health from one clinic in Newtown (previously based at Wakefield Hospital) to over 32 physio and rehab clinics and multiple services across New Zealand – helping people with pain, injury, spine care, providing clients with access to cultural services, vocational health in the workplace, post-surgery rehab, mental health and wellbeing services.

“It’s a great honour and a real inspiration to be here with so many passionate Wellingtonians and Wellingtonian businesses. What a great night to get out and socialise – so good!
This is a really special moment for TBI Health. Last month we celebrated our 21st anniversary. We started out with 3 people – we wanted to change the way healthcare was delivered and create a ‘team approach’. 21 years later, we are 600 people working across the country. It’s been a long journey – healthcare is not an easy gig and it comes down to a hell of a lot of hard work from many people whom I really want to thank.
First off, Chris Hoffman, Peter Welsh (who can’t be with us tonight), Mary, Linley, Sally – you are the ones that had the confidence in us – to take this and run with it. And then, these guys on this stage (and the rest of our team across NZ), many of whom have worked with us for many, many years, have just kept going… and it’s down to your hard work that we’re up here tonight. Well done team!
